Nikon has released a new firmware (A: 2.01/B: 2.01) for the D200 DSLR camera that is supposed to fix the dreaded Dead Battery Syndrome (DBS). My D200 is perfectly fine but I have heard many complaints of the problem: sometimes a fully charged battery is seen by the camera as discharged.
US readers can grab them by following the links below. Readers from other regions please check with your local Nikon website.

If you have not been impressed by the small digital photo frames so far, this giant digital photo frame from Smartparts will likely get you to pause and think. The 32″ SP3200WF features a 16:9 LCD panel with high definition 1,366 x 768 resolution. It can display 16.7Million colors, playback video and sound (WMA and MPEG), and display PDF and Powerpoint slideshows.
It is wall mountable with a nice-looking wooden frame. It has a small 256M internal memory but supports SD/MMC/MS/xD/CF memory card formats. The Wi-Fi connectivity allows syncing to PC, Windows Live Gallery, and displaying RSS feeds.
No words on price and availability yet. We will definitely keep you posted when we found more.
