Digital Photography Tips and Techniques

It has been a while since the last Digital Photography Links was published. It has become quite difficult for me to keep up the work here due to a newborn. Hopefully things will slowly get better. Here are some interesting digital photography links:

• Apple releases Aperture 2.14 to address general compatibility and overall stability issues in creating and ordering books and slideshows.
• Eternal Storms Software releases flickery 1.5, a flickr desktop client for Mac OS X that gives you the combined power of the flickr photo-community and the ease-of-use and elegance of Mac OS X Leopard. The new version has bug fixes and new features such as video transfer and playback.
• Nikon D300s was spotted at BestBuy, appears to be available from third party merchants on Amazon and will be available from Amazon itself on August 30th. Can we say it is the best DX format DSLR on earth?
• 25 Cool Digital Photography Tutorials, Techniques and Effects.  SpekyBoy, a design magazine has this cool collection of popular photography techniques and special effects.
• Nikon Capture NX2 v2.2.2, Camera Control Pro 2.6.0 now available. The new version supports the new Nikon DSLR cameras D300s and D3000 and has some bug fixes as well.
• Sony Adds Unique Design To New Digital Photo Frame. Does your digital frame look too plain? Check out the new Sony digital photo frames with elegant Swarovski Elements (glass crystals).
