This isn’t really new. It has been floating around since mid October on the internet. But after a well know gadget blog picked this up today, its popularity seems to have soared. If you haven’t seen it, the following is a Youtube video showing you what can be done with a dozen Nikon Coolpix S1000pj digital cameras with built-in projector attached to the back of a boy.
If you cannot afford a dozen of them yet, you may be ok with the normal usage of the camera. Some examples are shown in the following video.
